Cutissential 18-MEA

CUTISSENTIAL 18-MEA 40 and CUTISSENTIAL BEHENYL 18-MEA are quaternized derivatives of 18-Methyl Eicosanoic Acid (18-MEA), the primary lipid of the hair surface. On the hair’s surface, the thin layer of lipids (including 18-MEA) protects the hair from damage caused by chemical treatments, environmental stress and everyday grooming, which can strip the hair of these lipids and leave it unmanageable, dull or prone to more significant damage. The CUTISSENTIAL Range was developed as a means of replenishing 18-MEA and helping the hair to regain or retain its healthy appearance.
