KERALENIS is a self-emulsifying delivery system designed to simplify hair relaxer production and provide enhanced functionality. It is comprised of an optimized ratio of anionic phosphate esters, an emollient and fatty alcohols that allows the creation of relaxers that maximize straightening without the extreme damage associated with non-ionic emulsion systems. It forms thixotropic emulsions that break upon application to provide maximum oil deposition and enhanced delivery of active ingredients. This mechanism results in less cuticle damage, less scalp irritation and greater conditioning.
