Solaveil Spextra Dispersions

SOLAVEIL SpeXtra titanium dioxide (TiO2) dispersions offer unprecedented broad spectrum UV protection. These unique dispersions provide a much higher level of UVA protection than traditional sunscreen grades of TiO2, while maintaining the high UVB protection normally associated with these materials. Used as a single active ingredient, SOLAVEIL SpeXtra dispersions meet current European guidelines for UVA protection and the Broad Spectrum claim as designated by the new FDA Rule, with no compromise on SPF efficacy. Due to the large size and spherical shape of the SOLAVEIL SpeXtra particles, these products have a silky, talc-like feel on skin. The dispersions also show exceptional photostability. They are ideal active ingredients for beach sun care formulations, in particular products for babies, children and sensitive skin, or products making “natural” claims. SOLAVEIL XT-300 and SOLAVEIL XT-40W have been approved by Ecocert for use in natural or organic skin care products. Also, since TiO2 is approved worldwide as a UV filter, SOLAVEIL SpeXtra dispersions provide a straightforward way of making global sun care formulations, which conform to all regulatory requirements in terms of active ingredients and SPF and UVA claims.
